Los Angeles' Avenue A are a sharp rock three-piece that formed in early 2005. As original products of the late 90's Phoenix punk scene, the members spent their early years in Southwest punk favorites Girl Repellent, Hello John and a handful of other acts. The name, Avenue A, is a nod to the idea of realigning what is most important in life.

With years of performance and touring experience from prior bands, Avenue A has been able to focus on writing tight rock songs. After spending two years in their Phoenix studio working on a collection of music, the band was confronted with the decision to either breakup, or make the move to Los Angeles to ensure all original members stayed in the band; Avenue A made the move.

The band's first EP, the three song, The Parkway Sessions EP was produced with an extremely limited budget and help from friends. Not willing to wait, the band sidestepped traditional distribution and embraced current technology; offering The Parkway Sessions EP for purchase or free download online.

Avenue A does not make any ridiculous promises to change the world with their music, rather, simply to put out powerful rock and roll.

Avenue A is currently working on pre-production for their first full-length album.
